About Spencer

Spencer is a seasoned government relations expert with deep relationships on both sides of the political aisle and 15 years of expertise in political strategy, lobbying, and federal campaigns.

At Mile 27, he leverages his extensive public policy and political experience to provide strategic advice and advocacy services to companies across various industries. Whatever the issue, he helps clients navigate the complex and dynamic policy landscape, identify opportunities and risks, and achieve their policy objectives. 

Spencer was previously a Vice President at the Daschle Group (now DB-3) and a public policy advisor at Baker Donelson in Washington, DC, where his clients included Fortune 500 companies, defense contractors, and foreign embassies. He also serves as the President and CEO of Wolf Strategies, LLC, a public policy consulting firm.  

Spencer holds a Master of Policy Management degree from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from George Mason University. He lives in Eden Prairie Minnesota with his wife, three children and his cross-eyed dog, Walter.
