She has led Fortune 50 event and communication strategies through growth, transformation, and organizational change — reshaping how teams connect, learn, and lead. 

Her foundation in boutique luxury retail includes scaling brands into new markets, building communication platforms, and elevating customer experiences. Kate brings genuine care, clarity, and purposeful storytelling to create connection, build trust, and deliver lasting change.

At Mile 27, Kate turns people-centered experience design into results that matter. She clarifies strategy, aligns leaders, and engages teams with communication that strengthens trust and drives action. She helps retailers activate strategy and elevate experiences with clarity, connection, and intentional execution.

Kate lives in Minneapolis with her husband and two daughters. She loves to travel, spend time with friends and family, play pickleball, and take long walks around Lake Harriet—always finding new joy in the charm and energy of our perfectly sized city.
